About the position

The Operations Manager for Asset Protection is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of the company's assets within the distribution center or fulfillment center. This role involves leveraging data analytics to identify problems, improve processes, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The manager will also develop and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and asset protection strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and leverage data to determine root causes and apply solutions.
• Participate in the feedback loop between data intake and insights to improve data collection processes.
• Develop and implement technology changes across multiple processes within the assigned area of work.
• Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, and shortages, reporting findings to management.
• Assist in the implementation of access control procedures to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct security audits and ensure exceptions are remediated according to standards.
• Generate standard loss and shrinkage reports and support practices for reducing loss.
• Engage with stakeholders to share relevant information and respond to requests effectively.
• Coordinate with emergency responders and evaluate facility environments against OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• 2 years' experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety Management, Audit, or related field, AND 1 year of experience in Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety.
• 3 years' experience in Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, Safety, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing.
