The position focuses on enhancing data and digital literacy within the organization, ensuring operational excellence, and promoting environmental protection and risk management. Responsibilities

  • Delineates problems and applies data to find solutions.
  • Participates in improving the data collection process.
  • Ensures data quality and organizes information for analysis.
  • Creates dashboards for stakeholders using visualization techniques.
  • Identifies ways to automate and improve existing processes with technology.
  • Documents business requirements for new technology solutions.
  • Develops and integrates prototypes for technology-enabled solutions.
  • Implements technology changes across multiple processes.
  • Assesses situations based on departmental goals and operating issues.
  • Documents regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Identifies safety hazards and reports to facility leadership.
  • Provides recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex issues.
  • Develops business cases for projects with projected returns on investment.
  • Operates tools for evaluating environmental impacts and supports regulatory visits.
  • Evaluates risk assessment models and establishes risk management benchmarks.
  • Proposes and implements security measures and coordinates investigations.
  • Delivers assessment reports for transportation loss control and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Engages with stakeholders and analyzes their needs for effective communication.
  • Organizes and presents complex information clearly to team members and clients.
  • Coordinates with emergency responders and evaluates facility environments against OSHA guidelines.
  • Defines critical workflows and implements methods for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field AND 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.
  • 4 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety within relevant fields if no degree is held.
  • 2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies within Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
