About the position

The position involves initiating, directing, and participating in community outreach programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role includes supervising and developing hourly associates, modeling exceptional customer service standards, and assisting the store manager in driving financial performance. The individual will also coordinate job-related activities, support company mission and values, and provide direction on executing business processes.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key individuals or groups in the community.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable.
• Analyze and interpret reports to implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls.
• Oversee safety and operational reviews and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
• Assist store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
