About the position

The Optical Associate at Sam's Club provides exceptional member service by assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting the company's optical products and services. This role involves maintaining the optical area, stocking merchandise, and ensuring compliance with company policies while operating cash registers and processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, and organizing product displays.
• Handle claims and returns, zone the area, and identify shrink and damages in the Optical area.
• Receive and stock merchandise, and maintain the Optical area according to company procedures.
• Operate cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Sell optical products and services, including measuring and adjusting frames and lenses, and completing eyewear orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or customer service.
