About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams in a retail environment, focusing on customer service excellence, financial performance, and operational efficiency. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with associates at all levels, implementing business solutions, and driving company change initiatives. The individual will also be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring associates while ensuring compliance with company policies and promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations and company direction.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales goals.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
