About the position
The position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a pharmacy setting, including processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and managing pharmacy operations. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders and administering immunizations.
- Drive sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation and inventory management.
- Model and enforce customer service approaches to resolve customer needs and complaints.
- Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to engage with the community.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports and implementing safety controls.
- Supervise and develop associates through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and documentation as required by policies and regulations.
- Use business metrics to make informed judgments and improve performance.
- Analyze data to exceed customer expectations and enhance service delivery.
- Set clear expectations and performance measures for associates and business initiatives.
- Build and influence teams by communicating effectively and recognizing accomplishments.
- Ensure compliance with health care regulations and operational execution of billing procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.
