About the position

As a Member Service Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members. Your primary responsibility will be to acknowledge members as they enter the store, identify their needs, and assist them with their purchasing decisions. This includes locating merchandise, resolving any issues or concerns they may have, and promoting the company's products and services. You will operate hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, processing member purchases efficiently and assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to the appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types. In addition to general member service, you will also be responsible for providing Pharmacy products and services in accordance with company policies. This includes assisting with the processing of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders, stocking and securing Pharmacy supplies, entering prescription information, and maintaining all required documentation. You will receive and stock merchandise in the Pharmacy area, ensuring that it is organized and maintained according to company procedures. This role requires you to complete work assignments and priorities by utilizing company policies, data, and resources effectively. Collaboration with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners is essential to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and to communicate progress and information effectively. You will also be expected to comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. This includes implementing related action plans and utilizing the Open Door Policy in executing business processes. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate cash registers and related equipment.
  • Experience in customer service or retail environment.
