About the position

As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for driving sales and supervising a team of associates in the prepared foods area. This role involves ensuring high-quality food service, maintaining operational standards, and collaborating with other departments to meet member expectations. You will also focus on team development, compliance with company policies, and leveraging technology to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments, facilitating rotations and managing member needs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Drive business results by maintaining operational excellence and planning for profitability.
• Teach and train the team, identifying training needs and encouraging career growth.
• Collaborate with managers and co-workers to develop and implement business processes and practices.
• Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
