About the position

The position involves developing tools that support project initiatives, such as feedback collection and gap identification tools. The role also includes leading large or multiple medium-sized projects by defining project scope and objectives, coordinating planning activities, developing resource plans, monitoring budgets, managing changes, and ensuring adherence to project standards. Additionally, the position requires analyzing business efficiencies for Walmart Central Operations' projects, developing creative solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and communicating project metrics to leadership. The candidate will provide expert advice and guidance, build relationships with stakeholders, and model compliance with company policies and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools that support project initiatives by identifying and determining information and tool requirements.
  • Gather and analyze data and information; design and format tools; assess enhancement requirements.
  • Implement finalized products; track usage and feedback; address or escalate issues as needed.
  • Lead a large project or multiple medium-sized projects by defining the scope and objectives.
  • Work with business units to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and known issues.
  • Coordinate planning activities and assemble management plans.
  • Develop and implement resource plans; monitor budgets and costs for projects.
  • Manage changes to the plans and ensure adherence to established project standards.
  • Analyze business efficiencies for sustainment and implementation projects using various analytical methodologies.
  • Develop, automate, and implement tools to support project analytics; communicate project metrics to leadership.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs and monitor progress.
  • Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Sciences, Business, or related field and 2 years' experience in project management, operations management, or related field OR 4 years' experience in project management, operations management, or related field.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
