About the position

Immediate need for a talented USA-Project Technical Coordinator III (IT). This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Cambridge, MA (Hybrid). The role involves working closely with the Digital R&D Data Products team within a leading Pharmaceutical Industry. The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating various technical projects, ensuring that they align with business objectives and meet the defined requirements and standards. The position requires a strong understanding of software development, particularly in the context of life sciences R&D portfolio management, including commercial forecasting, portfolio valuation, and portfolio simulation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development and will be proficient in Agile methodology and SAAS applications. The role also involves evaluating potential technical solutions for feasibility and cost-effectiveness, as well as assisting in identifying and documenting bugs or issues for resolution. The Technical Coordinator will need to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience and must be highly self-motivated with great attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate various technical projects within the Digital R&D Data Products team.
  • Evaluate potential technical solutions for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting bugs or issues for resolution.
  • Ensure developed solutions meet defined requirements and standards through testing.
  • Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Support the development and management of cloud-based, enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with Planview software and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of processes and solutions related to life sciences R&D portfolio management.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and SaaS applications.
  • Proven experience in building and supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
