About the position

The Business Development team at Walmart Facility Services is focused on expanding the business into additional internal properties and offering services to the external market. This role involves evaluating unique complexities, estimating resources, and comprehending client needs to ensure long-term sustainability. The team is data-driven, tracking various metrics to optimize operations and build strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement go-to-market strategies for the Facility Services program.
  • Determine revenue streams, ensure proper licensing, bonding, and insurance, and secure necessary funding.
  • Collaborate across various functions to assess and allocate appropriate resources for efficient operations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service and account management.
  • Develop, support, and manage processes that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and team members, ensuring thorough completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators to ensure optimal return on investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area OR 5 years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, and/or partnerships, preferably in the maintenance or service industries.
  • Extensive business development experience in the maintenance industry, including industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Outstanding influential communication and presentation abilities.
  • Results-oriented leader with a proactive and strategic mindset.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales.
  • Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
