About the position

In this role, you will drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs. You will be responsible for developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, and providing necessary resources. You will also identify performance standards, measure progress, and adjust performance accordingly, while developing contingency plans and demonstrating adaptability to support continuous learning. As a supervisor, you will provide development opportunities for associates by selecting and training them, mentoring, assigning duties, and building a team-based work environment. You will establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations, providing recognition and rewards while ensuring diversity awareness within the team. Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will train and direct others in their application and ensure compliance with these standards. You will ensure that business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives. This will involve consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, and other key stakeholders, soliciting and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and participating in community outreach events. Additionally, you will manage multiple projects by defining the scope of work and project objectives, establishing project activities, deliverables, milestones, and timelines, and coordinating planning activities. You will track changes to plans, manage project governance, monitor budgets, and deliver presentations and status reports to stakeholders. Your role will also include managing content management initiatives by evaluating and prioritizing content requests, designing and maintaining tools and resources, and ensuring that content aligns with governance standards. You will analyze data to identify existing standards and processes, evaluate performance baselines, and develop improvement solutions. Furthermore, you will manage behavior change and process improvement programs by evaluating needs, partnering with cross-functional teams, and monitoring program performance against metrics. You will embody the values of Walmart by acting as a culture champion, servant leader, and demonstrating curiosity and courage in embracing change. You will focus on delivering for the customer, employing strategic thinking, and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within your team. The annual salary range for this position is $79,000.00 to $169,000.00, with additional compensation opportunities based on performance and location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 3 years' experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area OR 5 years' experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area.
