About the position

The position involves directing and managing maintenance and service operations for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems. The role focuses on evaluating facility needs, overseeing sustainability initiatives, managing complex projects, ensuring financial sustainability, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The position also emphasizes team development, diversity, and collaboration to meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Direct heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance and service operations.
  • Evaluate current and future projects and facility needs.
  • Identify equipment to increase efficiency and direct temperature adjustments.
  • Analyze systems and load requirements for energy reduction.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and establish maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Oversee execution of sustainability initiatives to meet compliance programs.
  • Manage complex projects by determining work assignment priorities and planning work assignments.
  • Control maintenance costs and track preventive maintenance service completion.
  • Develop and approve budgets for capital expenses and staff needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local industry laws and regulations.
  • Drive execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training and mentoring.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 4 years' experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area.
