In the Verticals & Growth team at Walmart, the OnDemand Delivery role focuses on enhancing the Last Mile Delivery Platform. Responsibilities

  • Ideating strategies that drive growth and optimization.
  • Preparing and presenting business cases to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Leading end-to-end implementation of strategies through meticulous planning.
  • Translating data analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current projects, programs, and initiatives.
  • Building engagement initiatives to ensure Spark is the platform of choice for drivers, customers, and clients.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to improve the Spark driver platform.
  • Planning and providing best-in-class hypercare support for projects and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 3 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area, or 5 years' experience in a related area.
  • 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Field Ops/Last Mile Delivery/Business Strategy/Project Management.
  • Deep knowledge of the gig industry and the marketplace economy.
  • Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Action-oriented with strong execution skills.
  • Ability to influence others and manage stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Leadership of cross-functional task forces or projects.
  • Master's degree in Operations Management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
