About the position

The Senior Manager, Product Development for Kids Home is responsible for leading the development of Private Brand products from ideation to market launch. This role emphasizes customer advocacy, product quality, and strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams to influence product decisions and achieve key business metrics. The position requires a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, as well as the ability to analyze data to drive product execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advocate for customers in the product development process.
• Assist in setting the category strategy for Private Brands through customer understanding and market trends.
• Build relationships with suppliers, merchants, and other team members to influence product decisions.
• Collaborate with merchants on product aspects including replenishment, supply chain, and pricing.
• Work with Sourcing to deliver quality products while achieving key business metrics.
• Maintain a focus on quality and continuous improvement in product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and understand market trends.

Nice-to-haves

• Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages.
• Experience with creative design software and financial modeling.
• Project Management Professional Certification or Six Sigma Certification.
