About the position

As a Senior Manager of Product Development for Kids Home at Walmart, you will advocate for customers by overseeing the product development process from ideation to final product review. This role focuses on creating high-quality, value-driven products for Walmart's Private Brand, leveraging the company's scale to impact millions of customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and ensure product quality while driving key business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to assist in setting the category strategy for Private Brands.
• Build relationships with suppliers, merchants, and business partners.
• Influence decisions regarding product replenishment, supply chain, and pricing.
• Work with Sourcing to deliver quality products while achieving key business metrics.
• Maintain a focus on quality and continuous improvement in product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and market trends.

Nice-to-haves

• Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages.
• Experience with creative design software.
• Financial modeling skills.
• Project Management Professional Certification.
• Six Sigma Certification.
