As Senior Manager, Software Engineering in Global Tech, you will be leading a team of over 10 engineers focused on Fulfillment engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver core capabilities that span our Node Management Systems. This role is pivotal as our team collaborates closely with US stores and the eCommerce business to enhance customer service by empowering team members, stores, and merchants through technological innovation. Walmart U.S. offers a vast selection of products, from groceries to entertainment, and your work will directly impact how customers interact with our services, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through mobile apps, or in-store. In this position, you will build, develop, and guide a high-performing talent pool for the Node Management Systems engineering team. You will engage and guide the team technically, getting involved in design and architecture, and hands-on coding when necessary. A significant part of your role will be to define a long-term talent development and support strategy that encompasses various technology roles. You will engage with leadership globally to establish strategies and priorities for maintaining the platform, ensuring that all applications under your responsibility are delivered and supported effectively. Creating a collaborative environment across geographies will be essential for delivering the best services to our end users in Distribution Centers worldwide. You will also promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
