About the position

The Senior Manager for Customer Preferences, Privacy Program Operations at Walmart is responsible for implementing and managing a unified business strategy focused on customer data privacy. Responsibilities

  • Design and lead a comprehensive data privacy strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer focus in product design and compliance.
  • Translate program goals into business cases and financial impact assessments.
  • Define deliverables and schedules for managing multiple projects within the privacy program.
  • Develop business cases for privacy experiences that prioritize customer trust and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying customer and operational needs.
  • Support technology stakeholders in resolving complex issues between front end and back end.
  • Prepare clear and concise executive reports and communications.
  • Create privacy-related content, including customer-facing policies and internal training resources.
  • Manage budgets for internal and external resources and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Track program progress and develop forecasts to mitigate risks.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and influence actions with sound recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred in relevant fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management or related areas.
  • Background in compliance, legal, or business administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound business judgment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence others.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful programs globally.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in retail and data privacy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in relevant fields with 4 years of experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing accessibility standards.
