About the position

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Indirect Procurement Technology team at Walmart, you will be responsible for developing and deploying complex functional objects globally. This role involves analyzing, designing, and configuring SAP applications while managing project progress and addressing risks and issues. You will work closely with international teams to deliver customer-centric solutions and enhance products that align with business and technical needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance products by aligning business and technical needs.
• Analyze customer data and turn insights into actionable initiatives.
• Maintain configurations and manage risks associated with projects.
• Define vision and strategies for product families using domain expertise.
• Build collaborative relationships with key partners to create roadmaps.
• Analyze data sets and processes to recommend solutions to stakeholders.
• Encourage innovation and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science and 5 years of SAP MM/IP functional experience OR Master of Science and 2 years' SAP S4 MM/IP functional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 5 years of experience in SAP S4 functional (MM/IP).
• Experience in identifying key metrics and conducting rigorous data analysis.
• Proven ability to build business cases that drive decision making.

• Experience deploying cloud procure to pay solutions with complex integrations to ERP systems.
