About the position

The position focuses on enhancing user experience through effective design research, interaction design, and usability testing. It involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify user needs and gaps in current strategies, while also driving customer satisfaction through optimized processes and innovative solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate research insights into actionable recommendations for product development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user discovery through interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries to assess gaps in user experience strategies.
  • Manage functional partnerships by identifying stakeholders, analyzing their needs, and communicating effectively to influence technical outcomes.
  • Guide design research processes, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data collected and translating insights into design strategies.
  • Build stakeholder consensus by effectively communicating complex information and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Drive customer needs by creating customer journey touchpoints and simplifying processes to enhance product experience.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing scenarios.
  • Develop interaction designs and visual designs that adhere to user-centered principles and established guidelines.
  • Create prototypes and technical proofs of concept to validate design ideas and facilitate user testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
  • 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area if no degree is held.

Nice-to-haves

  • Design certification (e.g., IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
  • Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
  • Experience in related industries such as retail, supply chain, eCommerce, or healthcare.
  • Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
