As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for a new venture that aims to innovate and redefine retail. This position is not just about design; it’s about creating a compelling Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that meets user needs while driving business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business, Product, and Technology, to ensure that the user experience is at the forefront of all development efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the creation of designs, prototypes, and specifications that align with the team's strategic goals. Your ability to understand customer behavior and address usability issues will be crucial as you participate in brainstorming sessions and usability testing. You will also create user experience tools and documentation, maintaining a holistic viewpoint when making project decisions. Your creativity will be balanced with the heritage and design assets of the company, ensuring that best practices are embraced throughout the design process. Additionally, you will develop detailed design documentation and specifications, providing quality assurance feedback to Product and Engineering teams to ensure the correct translation of design into implementation. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be an innovative thinker and a great communicator, capable of translating design vision into cohesive, high-usability, scalable, multi-channel customer experiences. You will advocate for customers by utilizing user-centered design best practices and proactively anticipating their requirements. Your experience in rapid prototyping, B2B design, and eCommerce UX design will be essential as you focus on adaptability and continuous improvement of user experience tools and processes.
