About the position

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at Walmart, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities. This role requires utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, along with various tools and equipment, to ensure the efficient operation of refrigeration systems. You will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to maintenance calls and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following safety policies.

Requirements

• 2 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located.
