About the position

The position involves driving sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, managing inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Drive sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation and competitive pricing.
• Manage inventory levels and budget forecasting for the Vision Center.
• Provide direction and guidance to associates on customer service techniques.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associate participation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations for the Vision Center.
• Analyze reports to monitor asset protection and safety controls.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve performance in the Vision Center.
• Consult with customers to provide quality eyewear and maintain optical equipment.
• Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns.
• Coordinate job-related activities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.
