About the position

The Used Car Sales Manager at Courtesy Nissan of Richardson is responsible for leading the sales team to meet the growing demand for used vehicles. This role involves hiring, training, and motivating sales representatives while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The manager will set clear sales objectives, develop sales campaigns, and work closely with customers to build strong relationships and facilitate vehicle purchases.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of sales representatives.
• Sets a clear vision and establishes annual and monthly objectives for used vehicle unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits.
• Works directly with customers to develop enriching relationships and establish a strong network of clientele and prospects.
• Leads the negotiation process ensuring customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
• Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential, developing sales campaigns accordingly.
• Investigates business metrics to resolve shortfalls and implements action plans to elevate performance.
• Partners with the General Manager to plan and conduct vehicle inventory.
• Innovates in reducing costs and managing efficiency and profitability.

Requirements

• Advanced automotive sales management knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of automotive software is a bonus.
• Maintains a well-groomed and professional appearance.
