About the position
As a Used Car Salesperson at Pacific Honda, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while selling pre-owned vehicles. This role requires efficiency, ambition, and organization to meet sales quotas and maintain high ethical standards in all dealings with customers.
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers who enter the dealership and answering their questions about vehicles.
- Establishing and fulfilling daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals defined by the Sales Manager.
- Explaining product performance, applications, and benefits to prospects.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered for sale.
- Offering test drives to prospects and ensuring proper identification is obtained prior to the test drive.
- Keeping abreast of new products and translating their benefits to customers.
- Referring closed deals to the finance and insurance manager with properly completed paperwork.
- Preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery and ensuring customer understanding of vehicle features and paperwork.
- Following up on post-delivery items to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a buyer follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid California state sales license.
- Valid Driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
