About the position

The Retail Internet Used Firearms Specialist is responsible for creating accurate descriptions and capturing high-quality images of used firearms for the online inventory. This role involves maintaining an up-to-date website, assisting in sales through various customer interactions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding firearm transactions.

Responsibilities

• Create and upload accurate descriptions and high-quality images of used firearms.
• Maintain a high-quality website with accurate, up-to-date inventories.
• Add and delete specific firearms as they are acquired or disposed of.
• Evaluate and purchase used firearms, ensuring proper payment to customers.
• Initiate 4473 forms with customers and conduct final checks of applicable forms prior to firearm transfer.
• Assist in making used firearm sales through various customer interactions.
• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions.
• Produce monthly sales audit reports for online used firearms activities.
• Acquire all firearms legally in accordance with ATF, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Assist with the acquisition and receipt of firearms, ensuring proper completion of all company forms.
• Evaluate and appraise used firearms utilizing historical knowledge and resources.
• Respond to and handle customer issues using good judgment and logic.
• Maintain visual standards and perform housekeeping duties within the department.
• Participate in ongoing training related to firearms and selling skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to safely handle firearms and adhere to all regulations.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of operating a camera and computer for uploads.
• Knowledge of purchasing firearms, either through industry experience or personal collection.
