About the position

The Used Truck Sales Executive (UTSE) at JX Truck Center is a key member of a dedicated sales team focused on retailing used trucks. This role is responsible for developing existing customer relationships and generating new accounts to increase used truck sales while ensuring high levels of customer service. The UTSE will report to the Used Truck Manager and is expected to meet specific sales goals, contributing to JX's reputation as a leader in the heavy and medium-duty used truck market.

Responsibilities

  • Self-generate prospective customers and business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Identify and engage prospective customers by developing strategies to grow relationships.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Contact prospective customers and assigned accounts using various methods such as calls, visits, social media, texting, or email.
  • Utilize CRM system to document and maximize results.
  • Complete all paperwork associated with truck sales transactions, including writing sales orders and securing deposits.
  • Collaborate with internal finance companies to assist in obtaining customer financing.
  • Maintain current knowledge of truck specifications and participate in product, market, and sales training.
  • Ensure the used inventory lot appearance meets JX Used Truck Standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of selling/closing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Google Enterprise platform and social media.
  • Mechanical understanding to learn specifications of complex equipment.
  • Business to Business sales experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • CDL required, or willingness and ability to obtain.
