About the position

The Used Truck Salesperson at Bruckner Truck & Equipment is responsible for assisting the management of the used truck sales department, enhancing the productivity of the sales team, and increasing departmental revenue. This role involves supporting the Used Truck Sales Manager and the VP of Sales, managing sales efforts, and developing marketing strategies to drive sales in the used truck segment.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in the activity of the used truck sales department.
• Provide values to salesmen and general managers for trades.
• Daily manage and support sales efforts of the used truck team.
• Work closely with corporate used truck manager and marketing department to develop sales and marketing strategies.
• Help develop used truck department sales personnel with CRM, appraisals, and proper used truck write-up skills.
• Evaluate used truck department performance and help manage inventory.
• Analyze turns and gross profit with corporate used truck manager and general managers.
• Locate, analyze, and recommend equipment to purchase for all Bruckner locations.
• Visit all locations bi-annually to cover CRM/equipment needs and build relationships with salesmen.
• Help general managers administer used truck recon for all locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in heavy or medium duty truck sales.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Mathematical skills to prepare sales quotes and analyze truck market data.
• General computer operation skills.

Nice-to-haves
