About the position

The Sr. UX Designer will be part of the Digital Onboarding team at Silicon Valley Bank, focusing on creating a seamless digital onboarding experience for clients and employees. This role emphasizes human-centered design and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance client acquisition and improve process efficiency through a unified platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for the next generation of digital onboarding platform.
• Reimagine the onboarding experience to drive growth and deepen client relationships.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points.
• Conduct research and discovery to inform design decisions.
• Develop service blueprints and facilitate workshops for design alignment.
• Design and deliver UX/UI designs that meet user and business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in User Experience (UX) OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in User Experience (UX).
• 6-10 years designing digital product experiences in an agile development environment.
• A portfolio of high-quality UX deliverables based on user goals, data, and business priorities.
• Exceptional knowledge of Figma for generating prototypes and final designs.
• Experience designing for both internal and external users using Service Design best practices.
• Ability to effectively present and communicate designs to various levels of leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with business process automation software like Appian.
• Experience working with developers using React.js for responsive web apps.
• Proficiency with Mural and user research platforms.
