About the position
The User Experience Designer IV position is a contract role focused on enhancing the Discover (Homepage & Navigation) space. The designer will collaborate with a diverse team to create user-centered experiences that align with business goals, particularly in the mobile app and website environments. This role is integral to the Product Experience Design & Research team, which aims to deliver innovative, end-to-end experiences for customers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Work with Experience/UX designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create solutions that align customer and business needs.
- Leverage research, site metrics, and usability findings to make recommendations and drive strategy.
- Understand the problem space and foster a shared vision of the future.
- Participate in a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with research, analytics, consumer insights, and A/B testing teams on methodology and approach for testing XD strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership on the evolution of the Experience Design practice.
Requirements
- Advanced skills with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Miro, etc.
- Demonstrated history in human-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability standards.
- Ability to present designs, drive consensus, and negotiate trade-offs.
- Ability to work through design solutions and understand the technology behind those solutions.
- At least 2 years working as an embedded product designer alongside product management and engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience as an Experience/UX Designer or 6+ years in a Design-related role.
