About the position
The User Experience Designer role at Resource Informatics Group involves designing, developing, and implementing web-based UI technologies for enterprise clients, particularly in the financial sector. The position requires a strong background in front-end technologies and a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement web-based UI technologies to support business requirements.
- Create design documents and perform software development (coding) and testing.
- Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Integrate UI with back-end services built using Java technology stack and REST APIs in a cloud environment.
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in User Experience Design or a related area.
- 10+ years of experience with a financial background in enterprise clients.
- 5+ years of solid experience in building and enhancing highly-available applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS/SASS, HTML, express.js, node.js, AWS cloud, and CICD.
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and enterprise SDLC processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Angular 7+, Typescript, HTML, Jenkins, CSS, npm, Redux, and ES6 ECMAScript.
- 3+ years of experience in emerging and traditional technologies.
