About The Position

The User Experience Designer for Entergy's AI organization will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization through the dynamic landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation. This position focuses on implementing strategies that drive user adoption for AI initiatives using human-centric design principles. The role requires a dynamic design and/or change management professional capable of driving change at the product level through high-quality designs, ensuring user engagement and readiness to adapt to AI technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 0-2 years of professional experience with a mix of UX design and change management experience for Level I
• 2+ years of professional experience for Level II
• 5+ years of professional experience for Senior level
• Experience with product prototyping and testing
• Exposure to designing UI and visualizations for analytics products
• Experience with change and communications strategies related to digital product deployment
• Familiarity with industry design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, XD, Webflow)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Familiarity with the energy and utility industry

Responsibilities

• Design experiences for successful product outcomes
• Engage and collaborate on product strategy
• Design end-to-end solutions
• Conduct UX research and discovery
• Perform experience research, empathy mapping, ethnography, and journey mapping
• Develop design strategy and information architecture
• Create wireframes and prototypes
• Conduct storytelling, interaction design, and usability testing
• Facilitate user interviews and maintain design documentation
• Develop plans to facilitate AI technology adoption
• Collaborate with project leaders to identify and address change impact
• Establish feedback mechanisms to gather user and stakeholder feedback
• Engage with project teams, business leaders, and product users to understand requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Communicate design decisions and strategies
• Facilitate design, brand, and product strategy sprint workshops
• Train and mentor AI teams and business customers on design thinking principles
