About the position

The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements, focusing on user experience and design for web and mobile applications. The role requires a deep understanding of target users, conducting user research, and creating design specifications. The successful candidate will collaborate with product management, engineering, and analytics to bring products from inception to launch, advocating for customer needs throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements.
• Develop or work from user profiles and conduct task analysis.
• Create user scenarios and analyze user surveys and feedback.
• Create process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups.
• Request and drive user research/usability tests as needed.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, analytics, and research to take products from inception to launch.
• Build an understanding of customers via qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Present design work to the product team, engineering team, and external partners for review and feedback.
• Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards.
• Partner with highly technical development teams for product launch.
• Handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.
