About the position

As a User Experience Researcher specializing in B2B marketing and advertising, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive user research to enhance navigation experiences for users globally. This position involves collaborating with a team of UX researchers to provide insights that shape innovative solutions for technical and enterprise products. Your expertise in mixed methods research will be essential in delivering actionable insights and recommendations to improve user interactions with maps and travel applications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design effective user research.
  • Conduct user research using a variety of qualitative methods such as usability testing, moderated interviews, concept evaluation, surveys, and literature reviews.
  • Analyze and report research findings, providing actionable insights and product recommendations.

Requirements

  • M.A./M.S or PhD in Experimental Psychology, Design Research, Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant applied experience conducting user research.
  • Solid experience with usability studies, concept evaluations, competitive evaluations, literature reviews, diary studies, user interviews, and surveys.
  • Experience working on technical products, enterprise products, or developer-facing products.
  • Strong ability to manage, synthesize, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative datasets.
  • Ability to create effective visualizations using software such as Google Sheets, R, or Python.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience creating visually polished and persuasive slide decks to communicate research findings.
  • Ability to prioritize time between multiple projects and adapt to changing schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with R for data analysis (5 years preferred).
  • Experience in UX research (5 years preferred).
  • Experience analyzing both quantitative and qualitative datasets (5 years preferred).
  • Experience with Python (5 years preferred).
  • Experience in advertising (5 years preferred).
  • Experience in B2B marketing (5 years preferred).
