About the position

The User Experience Researcher will lead and own research initiatives to uncover user-centered insights that inform product design and strategy. This role involves understanding user behavior and needs, executing various user research activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences across multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own research initiatives to identify user-centered insights.
• Discover and understand user behavior, motivations, and needs.
• Define, plan, and execute iterative user research activities.
• Conduct generative and evaluative user research, including interviews and usability studies.
• Utilize data synthesis techniques to interpret research findings.
• Understand product roadmaps and plan research initiatives accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose optimal user experiences.
• Translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize usability improvements.
• Educate others on UX design methodologies and advocate for good UX research.
• Think creatively about the end-to-end customer experience.
• Establish a technical vitality plan to stay current in user experience fields.
• Utilize ideation and storytelling skills to communicate research insights.
• Design and execute a variety of research projects.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills for user-centered insights.
• Detail-oriented with a pragmatic approach.
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and execution-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
