About the position

The User Experience Researcher position at Lenovo is a pivotal role that supports research initiatives aimed at uncovering meaningful and actionable user-centered insights. This role is essential for helping the team deliver industry-leading user experiences across a broad set of products, including both hardware and software. The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering and understanding user behavior, motivations, and needs, which will inform the shaping of concepts, products, and solutions. These methods include generative work such as interviews, field studies, and ethnography, as well as evaluative work like usability studies, concept evaluations, benchmarking, and heuristic evaluations. The researcher will collaborate with other team members on complex and iterative workstreams, ensuring that the research conducted is comprehensive and insightful. Additionally, the User Experience Researcher will need to understand product roadmaps and plan both long-term and short-term research initiatives that will inform design decisions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional project team members and business peers to propose the best experiences for end users.
