About the position

The User Experience Researcher role at Kforce involves conducting comprehensive user research to inform product design and development. The position focuses on gathering qualitative and quantitative insights through various research methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting findings to stakeholders to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
• Analyze research data to generate insights and actionable recommendations for product improvements.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to integrate research findings into the design and development process.
• Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to illustrate user needs and experiences.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of product designs.
• Stay updated with the latest UX research methodologies and industry trends to continuously improve research practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in UX research or a related field.
• Familiarity with design thinking and user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency in UX research tools and software (e.g., User Testing, Optimal Workshop, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
