About the position

The User Experience Tester at DISH is responsible for testing the front end of applications used by agents and technicians. This role focuses on ensuring that system changes meet business requirements and enhance user experience. The tester will work closely with various departments to communicate changes and improvements, advocating for the end users of the applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test cases using business/IT requirements to ensure system changes meet requirements.
• Evaluate requirements for business needs and optimal user experience.
• Work collaboratively with various departments including marketing, sales, product teams, and IT.
• Proactively communicate changes, improvements, and defect fixes in non-technical terms to a large audience, escalating as needed.
• Ensure the product meets business needs and delivers value to users without introducing problems to current processes.

Requirements

• 2 years of user experience testing with frontend applications or equivalent experience.
• Aptitude for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Ability to plan for future work while maintaining current delivery.
• Must be able to handle different situations and tasks with minimal direct oversight from management.
• Experience with Customer App (CAP) or other agent CRM applications is a plus.
• Call center experience is a plus.
