About the position

The User Experience (UX) Designer II at McKesson is responsible for overseeing the organization's Design System, ensuring consistent user interactions across applications, and enhancing the accessibility of design components for developers. This role involves collaborating with Product and Engineering leadership on new product development, conducting competitive analyses, and iterating on designs based on user feedback. The position allows for 100% telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization's Design System (GDS) including the conception and design of new components.
• Implement components across applications to achieve consistent user interactions.
• Manage the implementation and adoption of tools to analyze website user behavior.
• Contribute to new product development through collaboration with Product and Engineering leadership.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from user group interactions and technical feasibility considerations.
• Conduct and maintain competitive analyses on different aspects of the product.
• Seek interactions with peer designers to grow knowledge and test ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Design or a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.
• Demonstrated experience with Figma.
• Experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
• Familiarity with Jira.
• Experience with Userlane.
• User experience research skills including contextual inquiry, interviews, focus groups, and user behavior analytics.
