About the position

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a User Experience (UX) Researcher in Princeton, New Jersey. The role involves working collaboratively with other researchers in our team, developing research questions, and conducting advanced testing methods. As a UX Researcher, your primary focus will be on enterprise-level SaaS applications, with an emphasis on B2B customer metrics. This position requires a deep understanding of user experience principles and the ability to translate user needs into actionable insights that drive product development and improve user satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate with researchers to develop meaningful research questions and advanced testing methods. You will utilize advanced UX testing and interview methodologies, focusing on gathering deep insights through both individual and group interviews. Leading the development of enterprise SaaS-focused UX metrics will be a key responsibility, where you will identify customer success metrics and analyze them using tools like Pend.io. Engaging with stakeholders, you will communicate research findings effectively and address challenges to improve processes. Prioritizing UX research for enterprise-level SaaS applications, you will emphasize metrics that matter to B2B customers rather than consumer-focused metrics. Your proficiency in various design and project management tools will be essential in assisting ongoing research efforts and ensuring that user-centered design solutions are implemented effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers to develop meaningful research questions and advanced testing methods.
• Utilize advanced UX testing and interview methodologies, focusing on gathering deep insights through both individual and group interviews.
• Lead the development of enterprise SaaS-focused UX metrics, identifying customer success metrics and analyzing them with tools like Pend.io.
• Engage with stakeholders, communicate research findings effectively, and address challenges to improve processes.
• Prioritize UX research for enterprise-level SaaS applications, emphasizing metrics that matter to B2B customers rather than consumer-focused metrics.
• Assist in ongoing research efforts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop is needed.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira is a must.
• Understanding and ability to conduct AB Testing is required.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology is necessary.
• Knowledge of Ajax is important.
• Experience in API Development is required.
• CSS skills are needed.
• Ability to interpret user behavior and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Experience in conducting user research, surveys, and interviews.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles.
• Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, and user flows.
• Experience in creating and implementing usability studies.
• Passion for understanding user needs and advocating for user-centered design solutions.
