About the position
The USPS Mail Carrier - RCA position is a full-time role that involves delivering mail and packages to residential and business addresses. As a Rural Carrier Associate (RCA), you will be responsible for sorting and organizing mail for delivery, loading it onto your delivery vehicle, and driving designated routes. This position requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues, as well as strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and delivery of mail. Physical stamina is essential, as you will need to lift and carry parcels and mail throughout your shifts. The role also includes collecting outgoing mail from collection boxes and obtaining signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail. After completing your deliveries, you will return to the post office with collected mail for sorting and processing. The work schedule for RCAs is varied and includes weekdays, Sundays, and holidays, making flexibility a key aspect of this position. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment or 16 with a High School diploma
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and delivering mail
- Physical stamina to lift and carry parcels and mail
- 5 year residency within the United States or Territory of the US
