Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a pipeline of top-tier podcast guests, scheduling an average of 1 podcast per week.
• Develop and execute a process to identify great businesses, contact founders, and schedule interviews.
• Conduct pre-interview research on guests and their businesses.
• Execute and refine the UtahPreneur content strategy across all platforms.
• Maintain and optimize the content calendar to ensure brand consistency.
• Manage posting of podcast episodes, clips, and summary/announcement posts on social and podcast platforms.
• Collaborate with and manage the remote editing and design team to optimize content for virality and engagement.
• Monitor post performance and engage with the audience.
• Analyze metrics and provide actionable insights to improve content strategy.
• Grow subscriber list and manage email campaigns, sending episode notifications and sponsor broadcasts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of social media experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Utah's local business landscape and culture.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with podcasts or a strong interest in diving into podcasting.
• Proficiency in using various social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Basic skills in Canva or similar design tools.
