About the position

The Utility Agent for Electric Cars at EDS Service Solutions is responsible for the safe transportation and maintenance of electric vehicles. This role involves ensuring vehicles are clean and operational, managing technology for navigation and communication, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries. The position is full-time and requires weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport vehicles and equipment to and from various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles for operational needs, both inside and out.
• Efficiently manage and operate technology such as tablets, smartphones, and GPS systems.
• Perform final checks to ensure all vehicles and equipment meet company standards and are complete with all necessary documentation.
• Organize and relocate vehicles and equipment within the lot or facility to keep operations smooth.
• Transport parts, supplies, and equipment between service centers or other locations, ensuring careful handling and timely delivery.
• Engage with customers when necessary during deliveries, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies during transportation and in the work environment.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports as required by service center management.

Requirements

• A valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Physical ability to enter, exit, and sit in vehicles frequently, as well as perform related tasks.
• A clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Weekend availability.
• Willingness to drive long distances (2 to 4-hour drives).
