Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level professional accounting work in utility billing activities.
• Supervise employees involved in clerical accounting work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Organize daily work and manage complex utility billing tasks.
• Review and approve adjustments made by staff.
• Respond to complex customer inquiries through verbal and written communication.
• Audit and maintain financial and billing reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or four years of paraprofessional accounting and/or payroll experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Strong customer service skills and supervisory experience.
• Ability to analyze financial data and manage accounting records.
• Technical writing and editing skills.
