About the position

The St. Benedict's Home Health, Inc. Utility Clerk is responsible for assisting with all clerical duties and helping maintain all client and attendant records. This role is essential in ensuring that all documentation is organized and accessible, which is crucial for the smooth operation of the agency. The Utility Clerk will engage in various tasks that support the administrative functions of the agency, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided to clients and attendants. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and data entry. The Utility Clerk will also be expected to represent St. Benedict's positively when communicating with outside resources and maintain a cooperative relationship with other facilities, offices, agencies, and co-workers. This role is vital in fostering a supportive and organized work environment that prioritizes client care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • File all client and attendant paperwork into their charts
  • Create client files and label all files
  • Creating notes for client's and attendant's files
  • Complete projects assigned by supervisor in a timely manner
  • Data entry of client and attendant information into the agency's computer software database
  • Maintain current log reports
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship when communicating with any other facilities/offices/agencies/co-workers
  • Ensure that St. Benedict's is represented in a positive manner when communicating with outside resources
  • Engage in daily staff operations, i.e., answer phones, morning meetings

Requirements
