About The Position
The purpose of this position is to manage the activities of meter reading, customer service and utility collections. This is accomplished by overseeing the reading of meters, initiation and termination of service, preparation of accounts for billings, collection of all charges for utilities and refuse collections, assisting in coordinating activities with information systems and accounting, and overseeing the preparation of collection and delinquency reports. Other duties include answering questions regarding accounts, arranging for complaint investigations, granting specific types of payment arrangements, preparing and monitoring the annual budget and supervising and training new employees.
