About the position
The Utility/Dishwasher position is a part-time role based in Rockville, Maryland, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. This role is essential for supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including floors and surfaces.
- Assist in food preparation as needed under the direction of kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
