About the position

Weyerhaeuser is seeking Entry Level Utility team members for their Holden Lumber facility. This role emphasizes safety, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic in a manufacturing environment. The position offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement within a highly automated facility utilizing advanced technologies in the wood products industry.

Responsibilities

• Commit to working safely and following all safety rules and regulations.
• Safely operate equipment and conduct housekeeping activities in assigned areas.
• Feed product or place product onto equipment for processing or remove items after processing.
• Interpret work instructions and successfully complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills.
• Communicate with team members and leadership to improve safety and operating performance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and night/rotating shifts.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive work in extreme temperatures, dusty and noisy conditions while wearing safety equipment.
• Ability to lift 2-20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb steps and ladders, work from height, and stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
