About the position
The Utility I position at Terumo Medical Corporation is an entry-level role that provides flexibility across various departments within the Elkton manufacturing site. This position emphasizes the importance of attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), current good manufacturing practices (CGMPs), and good documentation practices (GDPs) to ensure patient safety and operational success.
Responsibilities
- Follow requirements of applicable national and international regulations.
- Closely adhere to all safety requirements.
- Perform operations including cutting and washing, rodding and de-rodding, sheath tip forming and inspection, dilator tip forming, silicon application, hand assembly, inflate/deflate (leak testing), RF welding (PVC welding), tube or valve bonding (gluing), and curvature insertion.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices.
- Participate in project performance team meetings to provide ideas for performance improvement.
- Follow requirements of TMC Quality System, including process controls, inspection procedures, document/data control, and change control practices.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
