Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area.
• Accurately mark the location of utilities and complete necessary documentation.
• Photograph each locate for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are mandatory.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
• Ability to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous outdoor experience is a plus.
